congrats on the savage. the bike is easier to mantain to me than any other bike i have ever owned. as in all bikes there are things you will have to do to keep it in good working order. it depends on how much you ride and the conditions and so on. all in all you got a one cylinder and a pretty simple design. so enjoy it. remember gas + spark + air makes it work. if you can get that its already there. i had never worked on a bike b4 i got this one. all of my efforts have worked out so far. REMEMBER THIS SITE.... if you have any questions it will help. from changing your oil to replacing brakes.
